The newest dining and drinking entrant in the Fremont East Entertainment District debuts today with Therapy. The 4,100-square-foot "gastro-lounge" features a menu with In the Gnudi, a baked ricotta with truffle honey and fig jam, roasted almonds and served with a cranberry and walnut crostini. Other dishes include Devils on Horseback, bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with almonds and truffle goat cheese and topped with romesco sauce; fire-roasted cauliflower mixed with sheep’s milk cheese, China ranch dates and yellow curry; a chicken and red velvet Belgium waffle slider with a red pepper remoulade slaw; the Big Sexy Burger with Boston bib lettuce, marinated tomato, brie and scallion mayonnaise; and a Kurobuta bone-in pork chop with grilled peach compote, mustard mash and pork jus; among others.
Look for an exposed ceiling that shows vaulted 26-foot-tall wooden barrel ceilings. A second level, 600-square-foot loft overlooks the main dining room and bar. Along one side of the 138-seat dining room, a 32-foot bar with more than 40 craft beers and 10 draft beers.
Lay Back on the Therapy Couch Starting Tonight
