The Hello Kitty Cafe food truck stopped in Las Vegas over the weekend to treat fans to dishes they'll soon find at the first bricks-and-mortar location coming to Orange County by the end of the year. Fans started lining up at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday outside Forever 21 at Fashion Show mall. By 10 a.m., around 300 fans lined up to buy Hello Kitty doughnuts, petit fours, macarons, water bottles and strawberry lemonade. Anyone who spent more than $25 received a free tote bag.
So far, parent company Sanrio has no plans to open a Hello Kitty Cafe in Las Vegas, but when pressed, the response was, "You never know."
