Say so long to the live music at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Book & Stage. Rumors point to Andy Masi and his new Clique Hospitality taking over the 4,515-square-foot space. Paperwork submitted with the county refers to the space as HQ Cocktail Lounge.
So far, $175,820 in estimated costs were allocated to demolish the former Book & Stage. Attached to the design, architectural firm Leo A Daly, whose local work can be found at Drai's Beach Club and Nightclub and Giada at The Cromwell and Shibuya at the MGM Grand.
Expect a quick turnaround on this makeover, which should have HQ open by September.
UPDATE: Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas confirms that Book & Stage will close on Sunday, July 12.
This is Masi’s second project out of the gates since he sold The Light Group to Hakkasan Group and formed Clique Hospitality with Shane Monaco and chef Brian Massie. Masi expects to open Salute this fall at Red Rock Resort in the former Terra Rossa space.
Masi plans to open eight restaurants and no nightclubs in Las Vegas and San Diego in the next 18 months. Two will be on the Strip, a couple will be off Strip and as many as three will head south to San Diego.
