Now confirmed to enter the local build-your-own-pie pizza wars, the Los Angeles-based PizzaRev franchise will create its first location at an under-construction, four-acre retail center at the corner of Rainbow and Badura. The 23,400-square-foot complex will also host Yogurtland, Farmer Boys and Café Zupas when it debuts by the end of the year.
PizzaRev allows guests to create their own pizzas starting with the sauce, cheese and 30 ingredients. The Roman-style pizzas cook in three minutes in a four-ton, 900-degree stone hearth oven. Gluten-free crusts, sauces, cheeses and toppings as well as vegan options such as Daiya cheese are available. Most locations offer a gluten-free beer.
They join local super-quick pie options Blaze Pizza, Pieology, Project Pie and 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, with more similar concepts on the way. Tom McDonald & Co., who operates 27 Burger King restaurants throughout Las Vegas, are behind this venture. The PizzaRev corporate website makes no mention of the upcoming Spring Valley location, but either by accident or design points to a "coming soon" locale inside downtown's Neonopolis.
