Late Nite Chef Fight films season two for the FYI Network starting next week at the Palms and the producers want a packed audience for the taping. The show starts filming when the sun goes down June 9-12 and June 14-17. Jolene Mannina, who created the Back of the House Brawl, brought the idea to Relativity Media, which filmed eight episodes right here in Las Vegas at the Palms back in October that aired in November. Chefs cook on food trucks and compete given one ingredient. The hour-long show includes three segments with three different dishes. All of the chefs involved were from Las Vegas. More details on the way, including possible Las Vegas chefs who will appear.
Chef Rick Moonen joins the Feast it Forward Network on its new Web series, Can I Eat This? The advocate of sustainable seafood plans to look for a “more responsible future in food” on sea and land. Moonen owns RM Seafood and Rx Boiler Room at Mandalay Place.
