With a cult following, smaller, but no less anxious than those waiting for a local Chick-fil-A to debut, Dutch Bros. Coffee will arrive in Las Vegas this June. Hoping to open their doors by the middle of the month, "the country’s largest privately held, drive-thru coffee company," will be taking over the shuttered Bentley’s Coffee drive-thru spot.
The 1,380-square-foot, 24-hour location is on the same block as The Gun Store and Casa Di Amore restaurant. Operating in Carson City since 2009, the franchise includes 245 locations that can only be owned by current employees or existing franchisers.
Using a proprietary blend of Colombian, Brazilian and El Salvadoran beans, their menu features an array of flavored coffees like the chocolate macadamia nut "Annihilator" and the "911," created with Irish cream and 6 shots." They also serve lemon poppy-seed, chocolate chip and orange cranberry muffin tops.
No word yet if the Las Vegas branch will incorporate the company's 19 item "secret Menu," including the "Grasshopper," a crème de menthe mocha and the "Bob Marley," flavored with chocolate, coconut and banana.
