So a lot of rumors are running around regarding Life Nightclub over at SLS Las Vegas. Yes, Steve Angello left his two-year residency booked at the resort last October to head over to Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace. Yes, Foxtail will do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to events. But no, Life is not dead.

SLS released this statement regarding its nightclubs:

SLS Las Vegas is committed to providing world-class nightlife and entertainment. LiFE Nightclub is a valuable part of our overall program and is not closing. It will remain a key part of our strategy to provide a more diversified range of entertainment to our increasingly broad customer base and we are actively booking talent for the venue. It’s always been the property’s vision to maximize the Foxtail space and as such it is the focus of our summer programming. Foxtail’s indoor/outdoor versatility makes it a perfect setting for summer when we can open up the capacity and create a special experience with our one-of-a-kind 3D mapping technology.

Foxtail will be getting a new entrance from the "main driveway rotunda [to] provide access to the outside bar/nightclub pool area."
