Back in February, plywood at the Mirage promised a new Center Bar and Parlor Lounge was "coming soon" to the area adjacent to the sports book and set to feature cocktails and piano accompaniment. Once the construction was complete, the resort instead unveiled a new cashier's cage and remodeled poker room. Only now has work begun on creating the real central hub on the casino floor.

Replacing the old cashier cage, casino service lounge and high limit slot area will be 5,196 square feet of premium lounging at the heart of the resort. The current estimated construction budget is valued at $3,374,072.

The Mirage prompts guests to "get ready for a new, premier bar and lounge experience, featuring craft cocktails, a piano lounge and high-class service." A fall debut is now officially promised.
