Your appetizers come stacked on a tower at the new People’s Republic at the Hawaiian Marketplace. Originally slated to be Rathaus, a German beer hall, People’s Republic dropped the fräuleins but kept the beer hall feel and outdoor beer garden overlooking the Strip.

The 6,540-square-foot restaurant features nothing of a German bend though. Cheesy puffs rolled in Cheetos, lollipop wings, beer-battered Brussels sprouts, Scotch eggs, duck poppers and beef kimchi pepper the appetizer menu in the $5.88 to $8.88 price range. A limited entrees menu features a bone-in pork chop, lamb shank and big turkey leg.

But come for the beer, 32 in all on tap and kept at a frosty 29 degrees. A 16-ounce draught will knock you back $8.88 while 22 ounces go for $11.88. Five beer cocktails include the Blood Shot using Blue Moon with Skyy blood orange vodka and peach schnapps and a Bye Felicia features Ketel One vodka, St-Germain, lemonade and Miller Lite.

People’s Republic also touts 32 TVs with "every sports package known to man and the UFC."
