Chris Paul's Private Dinner Party Took Over Tao Asian Bistro

Chris Paul hosted a private dinner with friends and family at Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian on Saturday night. The point guard for the L.A. Clippers ordered sea bass, steak, fried rice, an array of sushi and Lavo’s Oreo Zeppole. Resident DJ Khaled was also spotted with friends dining on chicken wings, crispy rice, chicken fried rice, sea bass, grilled wagyu steak and more. After dinner, Khaled stopped by his friend Chis Paul’s table to take a picture, before making his way upstairs to perform at the club. Also spotted at Tao was L.A. Clippers assistant coach Mike Woodson, NBA Hall of Famer Julius "Dr. J" Erving and actress Ambyr Childers, who continued her 27th birthday celebration upstairs at the club. [EaterWire]

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky dined with a group of friends at La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas on Friday night. Dubinksy and a group of about a dozen friends ordered cocktails and draft beers and ate flatbreads. [EaterWire]

NBA players DeMarcus Cousins and Willie Cauley-Stein of the Sacramento Kings dined at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms on Tuesday night. Dressed in all black with black baseball hats, the two players joined a table of 12 in N9NE’s private dining room. The group shared rock shrimp, chicken wontons, lobster potstickers, the chilled shellfish platter, asparagus, mac and cheese, lobster mashed potatoes and George’s creamed corn. Both men started with lobster bisque and Caesar salad. Roger Clemens was spotted dining at Lavo at the Palazzo last Sunday night. The retired MLB pitcher and his wife ordered penne a la vodka, crispy chicken "Dominic," crispy fries and Brussel sprouts. Patrick Beverley from the Houston Rockets was also at Lavo. The point guard, joined by a large group of friends and family, ordered meatballs, calamari, steaks, oysters and a bevy of cocktails. STK at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hosted celebrity chef Curtis Stone, singer Ryan Cabrera and NBA players and coaches last week on Friday. Dallas Mavericks owner and ABC’s Shark Tank host and investor Mark Cuban dined with Mavericks player Chandler Parsons. At a table nearby, fellow Mavericks player Devin Harris ordered beef tartare, crispy lobster tail and STK signature cocktails with a large party.
