Inspired by his parents three decade old Rosallie cafe in southern France, local Jonathan Pluvinet is bringing to Spring Valley a 2,500-square-foot homage to authentic French favorites.
Rosallie, "Le French Café" will take over over the corner property at the Rainbow Pavilion retail center, once home to a 7-Eleven at the intersection of Rainbow and Patrick.
The interior design will feature reclaimed barn wood counters, picture frames and recycled bricks. Already promised, nods to the dishes found in the original Nice cafe, including "freshly prepared, good, natural food and coffee. Lovingly handmade using amazing natural ingredients in our kitchen." The Rosallie Instagram feed shows pictures of pear, almond and apple pies, brioche, croissants and their in-house created strawberry jam.
While the original opening date of June 20 has passed, construction has progressed enough for the impending installation of exterior signage.
