A new ode to all things hot dog is now open in Henderson. Meet Steamie Weenie, the mecca to the hot dog with its pushcart variety with onions in tomato sauce, sauerkraut and spicy house mustard; the Windy City with tomato, dill pickle, diced onions, sport peppers, neon relish, celery salt and yellow mustard; and the Nor’wester in cream cheese, griddled onions, scallions, fresh jalapeño peppers and Sriracha. Everything here rings in under $7.

But go for the more unusual dishes such as the jalapeño popper with its cream cheese, beer cheese and slice jalapeños, the More Cowbell with pinto beans, pulled pork, fried onions and watermelon rind barbecue sauce and the 9th Island featuring Spam, grilled pineapple relish and scallions. Still less tan $7.

Steamie Weenie also features more than 50 glass bottled sodas. Make it a float with a double scoop of vanilla ice cream.
