Four Kegs, the dive bar at 276 N. Jones Blvd., was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a re-inspection on Monday, July 27.
The inspection itself garnered 20 demerits, but comes on the heels of a 30-demerit inspection on July 22.
Four Kegs demerits
SNHD inspectors found food unprotected from potential contamination, inaccurate thermometers, unposted grade cards and more.
This is the first time Foug Kegs has been shut down by SNHD since inspections started in 1989.
The health district conducts unannounced inspections at least once a year. Inspections are posted online about five days after the inspection. The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
