The former Cavalier Lounge becomes the Old Vegas Tavern, erasing the dive bar vibe that stood since 1963 for Rat Pack memorabilia.

It’s the Old Vegas food that should bring fans in. The dining room features classic Vegas dishes including a shrimp cocktail, steamed clams, mussels, braised short ribs, roasted half chicken, rib eyes and New York strip steaks and pasta dishes such as shrimp scampi and spaghetti and meatballs. Keep in mind the kitchen opens at 4 p.m. and closes at 11 p.m.

Of course the lounge stays open round the clock, serving up cocktails, martinis and beers and some video poker. The bar is ringed with 15 Golden Gaming video poker machines.
