Brace. Desyreé Alberganti's Gelatology Opens on Friday

It was only a matter of time until Desyreé Alberganti returned with her much-lauded gelatos, and on Friday at 1 p.m., fans can again taste her new flavors. Gelatology officially opens then.

Alberganti left Art of Flavors back in February due to “unavoidable circumstances” that “forced [her] to part ways and dissolve this business.” Art of Flavors has since reopened next to Viva Arepas with a less intense gelato menu, new desserts and Illy coffee.

Alberganti herself will soon be concocting new flavors at a location inside the Southwest Marketplace retail center at the corner of Rainbow and Windmill.

Her Gelatology concept will feature "artisan gelato and Italian dessert, crafted sodas and daily baked items."
