Since Eater Vegas exclusively revealed that Chick-fil-A will build its second location on South Eastern Avenue in Henderson, fans have wondered what would become of Nacho Daddy, the restaurant Chick-fil-A replaces in late 2016 or early 2017.

Nacho Daddy CEO and co-founder Paul Hymas confirms that the restaurant will relocate.

"The design and size of the massive building no longer mirrors the intimate feel that Nacho Daddy desires. We are currently in lease negotiations to move to another Henderson location. In addition to this change, we are in active discussions to introduce new Nacho Daddy locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley," he says in a press statement.

Chick-fil-A takes over Nacho Daddy’s 9925 S. Eastern Ave. location, the first branch of the Tony Hsieh-backed casual restaurant chain and a former Zappos employee favorite when the company was still based in the neighborhood.

Located on the northeast corner of the Southfork Pointe Commercial Center, the drive-through Chick-fil-A will host a 4,544-square-foot restaurant on 1.3 acres. Rather than work with the existing building, they will be tearing the entire 7,500-square-foot Nacho Daddy to the ground.

Nacho Daddy has locations in Downtown Las Vegas and on the west side.

Chick-fil-A plans eight to 10 Las Vegas area locations in the next five years and hinted that Las Vegas proper will host location No. 3.
