Southern France native and now Las Vegas local Jonathan Pluvinet debuts his Rosallie Le French Café in Spring Valley today. The casual French coffee house pays tribute to Pluvinet’s family restaurant of the same name in France that his parents opened 30 years ago with French breads, pastries, sandwiches and salads in a rustic, relaxed atmosphere. Look for a French traditional breakfast with a croissant, toasted house-made bread and jams with cappuccino; the Chevre Chaud salad with goat cheese on top of spring mix with a cream vinaigrette sauce; and a smoked salmon sandwich. Almond pie, walnut tart, macarons and croissants all make the menu.

The 2,500-square-foot space features repurposed metal and wood, and Pluvinet even hand-constructed and reupholstered the chairs, tables and a custom-built, brick counter, where guests can see the daily selection of pastries, breads and coffee. The café also features a library space.
