Brock Radke checks out Public School 702, the relatively new gastropub at Downtown Summerlin. He recommends heading there for happy hour (aka recess) from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for $4 Joseph James’ Citra Rye Pale Ale and Ninkasi’s Dawn of the Red and $5 well drinks. Other deals include $4 crispy cauliflower with Buffalo wing seasonings “that might make you forget about wings altogether,” and a $7 shortrib and roasted chicken tacos. “Purists may quibble as to whether this is an ‘authentic gastropub,’ but without a doubt it’s a comfortable spot with a tremendous beer list and tasty, satisfying fare. Call it whatever you want.” [LVW]
