Seasonal Burgers at the Hard Rock Hotel and Delmonico Bourbon Specials

HARD ROCK HOTEL — Mr. Lucky’s Café and The Ainsworth have a new Seasonal Burger Tour menu featuring four burgers. Try the Shaka Doobie with a half-pound burger topped with Swiss cheese, fried bologna, mustard and pickles and served between two grilled cheese sandwiches for $16; the Sloppy South with a half-pound burger on a bed of macaroni and cheese with bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce served on a brioche bun for $15; the Cali Burger with a half-pound burger complete with arugula, lemon mayo, goat cheese, roasted tomatoes, red wine and onion marmalade and avocado served on a brioche bun for $16; or the Fancy Pants with a half-pound burger settled in Merks port wine cheddar cheese with caramelized onions, jalapeño, crispy bacon and arugula served on a pretzel bun for $15. VENETIAN — Chef Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse has special bourbon cocktails all September. Delmonico's lead mixologist Juyoung Kang created the Back to School with Elijah Craig 12 year bourbon, lemon juice, hazelnut and cinnamon syrup, coffee liqueur for $15; Brown Derby with Old Forester bourbon, pink grapefruit juice and honey syrup for $15; and The New Father with Weller 12 year bourbon, amaretto and housemade tobacco vanilla bitters for $15. Culinary director Sean Roe cooked up three special bourbon-infused dishes including an entree of mushroom-crusted filet medallions with smoked apple bacon, caramelized onion bourbon sauce and parmesan cheese for $50; a side of roasted baby sweet potatoes with bourbon pecan glaze for $12; and a dessert of bourbon sticky toffee cake with vanilla chantilly cream for $11.
