Viet Noodle Bar
Address: 5288 Spring Mountain Road
Status: Daily from 9 a.m to 2 a.m.
New to the AM Plaza on Spring Mountain Road, Viet Noodle Bar takes over the corner property vacated by the Hung Quan Vietnamese restaurant. Created by the younger brother of District One's Khai Vu, the project has received hands-on support from the chef.
The extensive menu begins with spring rolls, fried calamari and "Banh Bao Bo Xao," steamed buns with rib-eye, priced at $7.95. Selections of meats to be added to their "Pho Bo" include "brisket, flank, fatty flank, tripe, tendon or rare steak." Beef, fish, shrimp and chicken comprise the four porridge choices.
Udon and chicken soup join the mix, alongside vermicelli dishes and house specialties like "shrimp BBQ or vinegar hotpot," "lotus root salad with shrimp and pork" and Vietnamese crepes.
Current advertised hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
