Self-described as a "diamond in the rough," the Gold Strike Hotel & Gambling Hall in Jean, Nevada, will soon be re-branded as the Terrible’s Road House. Sold earlier this year by MGM Resorts to JETT Gaming, the property has begun their revamp with the debut of a 8,460-square-foot Denny's. The roadside favorite takes over the shuttered Bonanza Buffet.
Also now closed is the Gold Rush Cafe. The Steak House continues to anchor the dining options on property, open for dinner every night from 4 to 10 p.m. with The Snack Bar serving from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Denny's is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Room upgrades are on the way, exterior improvements continue and the future Roadhouse is hosting a exhibition of famous movie cars including vehicles from the The Fast and the Furious franchise and a replica, Adam West-era Batmobile.
