VENETIAN — The Global Gaming Expo 2015 adds food and beverage to the mix when it takes over the Sands Expo and Convention Center Sept. 29-Oct. 1. Highlights of “Indulge” include a culinary competition where 16 chefs compete in a bracket-style series of mystery basket competitions hosted by Food Network star Steak Shapiro from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Sept. 29-30. Chefs Buddy Valastro and Daniel Boulud crown a champion on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Participating chefs from the Venetian and Palazzo competing include Yvonne Maatouk of Rockhouse, Thomas King of Public House, Scott Pajak of Lagasse's Stadium, Christian Gonzalez of Buddy V's, Michele Scarpa of Lavo, JD Groff-Daudet from the Venetian and Palazzo, Nicole Brisson of Carnevino Italian Steakhouse, Vincent Pouessel of DB Brasserie, Mike Tomorsky of Tao Asian Bistro, Armando Vargas of Aquaknox, Jay White of B&B Burger & Beer, Matthew Voskuil of the Venetian and Palazzo, Danny Herrara of Otto Enoteca Pizzeria, Ivan Rojas of Delmonico Steakhouse, Todd Harrington of Yardbird Southern Kitchen & Bar and Thomas Tapat of SushiSamba.
