Los Lupes Expanding from Mesquite to Las Vegas

After more than 17 years of operation in the small Nevada town of Mesquite, Los Lupes Mexican Restaurant is expanding 80 miles southwest to the big city.

The 3,420-square-foot restaurant is being constructed inside the Frias Shopping Center, already home to the izakaya menu of Sushi House Goyemon.

Serving recipes inspired by flavors from the Mexican state of Jalisco, Los Lupes likes to promote their chips, salsa and margaritas. In Mesquite, they also serve menudo on the weekends and and all-you-eat Sunday brunch. Specialties include fish dishes like halibut and lobster al carbon and on Saturday only, their version of a pozole soup. The venture is described as "coming soon."
