Hakkasan Accused of Diverting Customers from Light in Lawsuit

Hospitality company MB BC Ltd., which owns Daylight and Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay, claims Hakkasan, which manages the clubs, “diverted customers away, and lured DJs and promoters to work at Hakkasan clubs, forcing employees to sign non-compete agreements,” according to Page Six. Hakkasan snatched up former Light Group nightclubs such as 1 OAK at the Mirage, The Bank at Bellagio and Light and Daylight along with restaurants including Yellowtail and Fix at the Bellagio for $36 million earlier this year.
