Las Vegas can't say no to more fast food chicken. Raising Cane's will hit 10 locations this year, with more on the way, serving their specialty bird, "Cane's Sauce" and Texas toast.
On the horizon, they will be taking over one of the restaurant pads at the 220,000-square-foot Sahara Center, the retail hub anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market, T.J. Maxx and Petco created by the operators of Tivoli Village. That leaves a potential of four casual dining tenants left to fill at the center.
Summerlin and Henderson are two of the focus spots for the Raising Cane's brand, which is still actively looking for 30,000- to 40,000-square-foot footprints in those neighborhoods.
Next for the Cane family, an ever inching progress to the middle of the Strip. Across Tropicana from the Wild Wild West Gambling Hall will be their 10th location, a short distance from burger rival In-N-Out. Also listed on Clark County paperwork, a possible 11th locale on Flamingo, a few blocks away from the Palms.
Each Las Vegas location has been given an official nickname and so far they have created The Flamingo, The Showgirl, The Strip, The Fifth Element, The Rock, Air Force One and in Henderson and The 7th Wonder.
