The crowded burger market is about to get even tighter when The Habit Burger Grill opens on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Howard Hughes Center, joining neighbor Pieology Pizzeria that opened last week. The California-based chain features "Charburgers," sandwiches and salads, all custom built and made-to-order.

Aside from the 86 seats indoors including a communal table, guests can head to the outdoor patio.

The Habit’s claim to fame is fresh ground beef cooked over an open flame. Chicken and tri tip are marinated and filleted in house. The tuna is line caught, sushi-grade albacore. House-made ranch dressing is prepared in house daily. The french fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries are cooked in soybean oil. And peppers, lemons, limes and sauces can gussy up those sandwiches.
