Apparently Sam Nazarian, the founder and chief executive officer for SBE, is in talks to merge his company with Morgans Hotel Group Co. He’s stick around to serve as CEO of the company. The move would combine the 19 hotels in cities including Las Vegas. Brands such as SLS, Delano and Mondrian would be under that umbrella. SBE also owns restaurants such as Bazaar Meat, Double Barrel Roadhouse and Ku Noodle, and nightclubs including Hyde. Morgans sold their share of The Light Group to Hakkasan Group earlier this year.
