The temporary shutter of California Pizza Kitchen at the Mirage now has a re-opening date. Fans of their "BBQ chicken" pies can get their hands back on a crispy crust on Saturday, Sept. 5, just in time for an influx of Labor Day guests.
The estimated $200,000 in remodeling costs have upgraded the 3,958-square-foot, open-plan space, replacing all the existing furniture, adding new flooring, new finishes to the walls and installing new kitchen equipment, ensuring this CPK will be part of the resort for the foreseeable future.
The highly successful, prime location just steps from the casino floor, debuted at the resort in 1989 while Steve Wynn was still in charge and reportedly earned an eye-opening "$5.5 million in sales during its first year of operation."
