Hakkasan will once again celebrate the annual Chinese holiday "Golden Week" between Monday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 18 at the MGM Grand and has created a limited time menu, new cocktails and a special dessert.
Priced at $138.88, purposely to include China’s lucky number eight, the menu choices include a Supreme Dim Sum Platter, featuring dumplings like "lychee and lobster, abalone shumai with caviar, Alaskan king crab, and Dover sole dumpling with black truffle."
Also on the menu, "Crispy Eggplants with dried fish floss, Steamed Red Snapper in Royal Supreme Sauce with golden enoki, Braised Boston Lobster in superior stock, Wok-fried Rib-eye Beef with lotus root and black pepper, Stir-fry Asparagus with morel ginkgo nut and lotus seed and Fried Rice with diced abalone."
For dessert, a new creation has been designed with "dark chocolate and black sesame cremeux with yuzu ice cream and sesame Florentine."
To pair, try their new Golden Iced Tea cocktail, made with "Belvedere vodka, Tanqueray No. 10 gin, Tapatio Reposado tequila, Diplomatico Reserva rum, Cointreau, orchid tea syrup, peach bitters and Champagne." It is priced at $15, with a $7 non-alcoholic version, Soft Golden Iced Tea, created with peach juice, orchid tea and ginger ale.
