The Mad Greek Café has shuttered after more than a decade at the Canyon Gate Shopping Center and will be replaced by the third local Black Bear Diner, who will also expand into an adjoining retail space.
The Diner takes over the distinctive blue and white, 4,412-square foot corner lot and the 1,700-square-foot space next door. The Black Bear brand already operates in Spring Valley and Henderson, offering large portion, comfort food menus and a waving "welcome bear" stationed outside.
The Mad Greek Café chain has been in business for over forty years and still operates in Primm and as a familiar road-trip stop in Baker, CA. No timetable for the Diner's opening date has been released.
