They debuted a poolside bar back in June, but the Palms is finally ready to unveil the "The World's Largest Hooters" restaurant, following a grand opening evening on Sept. 14.

Taking over the failed experiment of Heraea, the more than 15,200-square-foot space sits next to the Palms Pool and plans to seat more than 500 guests within a two-story main dining room. Nearly 50 TVs will try to distract guests from the waitstaff and mountains of chicken wings.

Earlier this year, the "delightfully tacky yet unrefined" chain debuted their first Henderson location and still operates a 24/7 restaurant in Spring Valley. For a little while longer they also have the free publicity generated by the Hooters Casino Hotel. Trinity Hotel Investors bought the off-Strip resort back in May, leaving new operators Holiday Inn to remodel under a new name. The fate of the Hooters restaurant inside is yet to be determined.
