Shake Shack Alert! Downtown Summerlin Opening Date Revealed

Shake Shack fans of Summerlin, your commute for a ShackBurger is about about to get a whole lot quicker. Eater Vegas can reveal the second Las Vegas location for the East Coast burger kings will debut for business on Wednesday Oct. 7, at 11 a.m.

Technically part of the "dining arroyo" section of the outdoor mega-mall, the 3,300-square-foot space sits next door to the forthcoming Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse and across Oval Park Drive from Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken.

While the opening date is set, devotees of concretes, Shack Stacks, and crinkle cut fries will have to wait a little while longer to discover if there will be exclusive new menu items created just for this locale.

The first outpost west of the Mississippi River for the globally-expanding chain debuted at the end of 2014 at New York-New York to long lines and better than expected business.
