Pawn Plaza keeps rolling closer to opening day. Now a logo and the smoker are in place for some "DAM Good Hickory Smoke BBQ" at Rick's Rollin Smoke Barbeque & Tavern, inside the attention-grabbing, 2-story, open-air retail project.
Teaming Gold & Silver Pawn Shop owner Rick Harrison and local Rollin Smoke Barbeque, the split level dining and drinking concept has a new logo, featuring Rick and the "Lil bitty Piggy" mascot of the barbecue restaurant. Lil Piggy can be found stickered on walls around Las Vegas by eager supporters of Rollin Smoke.
Rick Harrison recently toured the space, giving it his seal of approval. With the TVs up and the taps in, a promised October debut is looking likely.

Also, future tenant Inna Gadda di Pizza has revealed a rendering of what to expect when it starts serving up New York-style pies whole or by the slice. The concept comes from 34th Floor Hospitality and Ralph Cautela, a force behind "Secret Pizza" at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which shares some design similarities with the new venture.
The Pawn Stars team will soon be making good use of the Pawn Plaza, launching the 2nd Annual "Pawn Stars Poker Run" on Sunday, Oct. 4 to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Nevada. Rick and son Corey will lead motorcycle riders through Las Vegas starting at 10 a.m and host the Official After-Party at the Plaza.
