Shake Shack is ready to rock Downtown Summerlin within days and they have some exclusive menu items created just for their new 3,300-square-foot space. The second local Shack will be located next door to the forthcoming Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse and across Oval Park Drive from Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken.

Opening on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m, the "dining arroyo" space allows them to even think of their four-paw fans, offering a "doggie bag of 5 ShackBurger dog biscuits" created by Bocce's Bakery priced at $7.95 per pooch.

On the menu, two new "concretes," Shake Shack's dense frozen custard ice cream blended at high speeds. Priced at $4.50 for a single and $6.75 for a double, the Desert Crunch-stellation is made with "vanilla custard, malt, Guittard chocolate chunks and chocolate toffee" and the Summerlin S'more features "chocolate custard, marshmallow sauce, graham cracker and chocolate truffle cookie dough."

Another Summerlin exclusive is a charitable concrete created with locals Gimme Some Sugar. Five percent of sales from their Red Velvet Rocks custard will support the Community in Schools charity which promotes "empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life." The concrete is built with vanilla custard and a slice of Gimme Some Sugar's red velvet cheesecake.

The remainder of the menu will be familiar to suburban Shack fans who've had to travel to their debut Las Vegas location on the Strip, since its debut at New York-New York late last year.
