Shock! Wahlburgers IS Headed to the Grand Bazaar Shops

First downgraded to only "possible," then their Grand Bazaar Shops location was taken over by neighboring Fuel Bar, the future for the promised Las Vegas branch of Wahlburgers has been looking grim. But all that has changed, with a surprise announcement that Donnie, Mark and chef Paul will finally debut the first local Wahlburgers before the end of the year and they are bring along a separate retail store.

The 5,000 square-foot restaurant and bar will sit adjacent to the new Starbucks, currently the casual food anchor of the Grand Bazaar retail and dining outdoor mall.

Along with the burgers, salads and chicken sandwiches, guests will be able to spend time in a retail shop, located closer to the Strip. Destined to open prior to the restaurant, look forward to "branded Wahlburgers merchandise, including T-shirts, key chains, shot glasses and more."

Actor, producer and now restaurateur Mark Wahlberg welcomed the news, explaining "the family and I look forward to bringing Wahlburgers to one of the most exciting places on earth – the Las Vegas Strip."

Already planned, a walk-up window for both cocktails and Originally from Dorchester burgers, plus a 600-square foot outdoor patio. Matching their previous outposts, there will be plenty of design nods to the Whalberg family's career in music, film and TV.

While missing a precise opening date, opening hours are already set in stone, serving Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m..
