Status: Open Sunday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Wide open to the casino floor and welcoming diners with a 12' x 6' owl at the front entrance, the new Hooters Palms has debuted ahead of schedule. Operating in soft open mode and already serving their classic wings, the split level space is designed around a central 'question mark' shaped bar.

Proudly proclaimed as the "World's Largest Hooters,"  there's room in the 15,200-square-foot venture for 420 guests, inside and out by the Palms Pool portion of the restaurant which debuted back in June.

On the menu, their signature wings, plus burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos, snow crab legs, salads and desserts like peanut butter pie.

Seven 3'6" x 2' letters spell out the familiar brand name, directly facing the resort's gaming tables and luring customers to nearly 50 TVs, booth seating and tables with high-back chairs.

Eighteen new beer taps have been installed, alongside twelve new video poker machines to add to the existing four out by the pool.

A grand opening evening is still scheduled for Sept. 14.
