Look How Lovely The New Lounge and Patio Are at Prime Steakhouse

The restaurant from Jean-Georges Vongerichten just went through a renovation.

Can a Tiffany jewel box of a restaurant get any prettier? Case in point, Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio. The bar area of the stunning steakhouse closed the patio and the glass room behind the hostess stand in August for a renovation that included $1.1 million in estimated construction costs. The 2,723-square-foot makeover converted the space into a modern lounge with expanded patio seating.

Guests head down the escalator to the restaurant that sits on the Fountains at Bellagio and find an enormous floral display that leads to the lounge area with integrated televisions and a full-service bar. The patio now seats 70 guests, and many of those guests have a view of those dancing fountains from 5 to 10 p.m. daily.

Vongerichten also has Jean Georges Steakhouse at Aria, which opened in 2009. Prime has been a staple at the Bellagio since it opened in 1998.
