An Ohio burrito chain claimed its first location west of the Mississippi River when Hot Head Burritos opened in southwest Las Vegas. This 1,334-square-foot location in a former insurance office in Fire Station Plaza features the smiley Leroy logo and customized burritos, bowls, nachos and tacos with a choice of proteins, rice, beans, salsa, cheese and vegetables. Sauces include "mild," "little wild" or "crazy wild." The franchise is also popular for its "Li'l Burrito," "Li'l Bowl" and "Li'l Nachos" children's meals.

The owners of this franchise plan to open another location in Las Vegas by March and a third later this year, according to the Dayton Daily News. There is a coming soon sign for Hot Head Burritos at St. Rose Parkway and Paseo Verde Parkway in Henderson.

As of July 2015, Hot Head Burritos had 63 locations nationwide. The company also recently opened in Connecticut and Florida.
