SasaSweets Want You to Get Stoned N Baked at Container Park

Loyal Container Park tenants SasaSweets are expanding from their ground floor ChilllSpot home and adding a new pizza and dessert concept almost directly above.

Stoned N Baked will offer pizza, brownies, salads and "munchies," with interior decor for the small, very limited seating space, created by the team from Lil Art Bodega, a gallery located just a few steps away.

Brother and sister team Joe Vergara and Liza Vergara-Gross promise custom made pizza in five minutes, including vegan and gluten-free options, plus lemon bars, SasaSweets bars and "kick ass brownies."

Downstairs, their ChillSpot frozen dessert store will continue to serve ice cream made with liquid nitrogen and their locally invented SasaPops "brand artisan frozen pops." The Chillspot debuted in the Park in December of 2013.

Scheduled to open daily from 11 a.m., Stoned N Baked takes over the original home of the Simply Pure Vegan Café, who have relocated to the ground floor to occupy a larger footprint.
