Las Vegas has a new food truck roaming the streets with the Venezuelan Mr. Cooker. The family-run food truck features traditional dishes such as empanadas in chicken, beef or cheese, or the pepito sandwich. Little patacones fried plantains, cachitos sandwiches in ham, veggie or shredded beef, arepitas, made with little balls of cheese, or tequeños, white cheese sticks covered with a dough and then fried, all make the menu. Golfeados are reminiscent of cinnamon rolls, but lightly fried. Wash everything you ordered down with Venezuelan chicha, a drink made with rice, milk, ice and sugar and topped with cinnamon and condensed milk for $2.

Follow the truck on Facebook or Twitter to find out where it is today. The truck is generally roaming between 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
