Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla Take Their Culinary Chops to Vancouver

The couple is opening eight restaurants and lounges inside the new Parc Vancouver.

Über culinary couple Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla go international when they put together the dining experience at the new Parq Vancouver. Blau, who earned a James Beard Award nod for restaurateur of the year and just debuted on CNBC as the newest investor on Restaurant Startup, and Canteenwalla, the chef behind the couple’s Honey Salt, Andiron Steak & Sea at Downtown Summerlin and Made LV in Tivoli Village, will oversee the development and management of Parq Vancouver’s eight new restaurants, lounges and bars.

Dining options at this resort sit inside the 30,000-square-foot park at the top of the casino that features natural gardens.

Blau and Canteenwalla have been working for more than five years to develop the restaurants there, all inspired by their time in Vancouver. The resort plans to open in early 2017.

Canteenwalla, who grew up in Montreal, will oversee day-to-day operations, recruitment and menu development.
