The first Nevada base for Kneaders Bakery & Cafe will arrive in Henderson later this year and now another national brand is taking their lead and expanding to the neighborhood. Corner Bakery Cafe will create their first outpost at the Galleria Commons, close to Sunset Station, creating a 3,030-square foot restaurant with a drive-thru.
Originally planned as yet another expansion site for Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the building will also feature a patio and sit very close to a Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery.
Corner Bakery Cafe operates 197 stores nationwide, specializing in "breads, hot breakfasts, made-to-order salads, sandwiches, panini and pastas," plus coffee by Java City and teas by Mighty Leaf. Their signature dishes are a chicken pomodori panini, the Trio Salad, and a cinnamon creme cake.
Aiming for a maximum price point of $8.99, the Henderson branch plans to be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Local franchiser Silver State Restaurants Inc., which also operates 13 Jack-in-the-Box stores locally, is behind the project. No timetable for the arrival has been announced.
