The Park at 3900 retail and office center on Paradise claims a third red meat-centric restaurant as Toscano Italian Steakhouse has shuttered, just shy of its two-year anniversary.
Owned by the creators of Lake Las Vegas' Luna Rossa, Toscano sat between Urban Turban and Taco's & Beer, but failed to capitalize on the proximity to the Hughes Center across the street and nearby conventioneers' expense accounts.
This corner space had proven to be particularly unforgiving for steakhouses in recent years. In 2011 Ruth's Chris shuttered after 22 years of serving petite filets, before Kelly's of Naples on Naples Island in Long Beach, Calif., decided to expand to Las Vegas and launch Kelly's Prime Steak & Seafood in the spot. That venture lasted one year.
No replacement for Toscano has been announced.
