Tonight, the world turns to Las Vegas as the third and final presidential debate takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV. Eater Vegas reached out to political reporters at CNN to find out where they like to dine in Las Vegas. Here, Jeff Zeleny, CNN's senior Washington correspondent who covers politics and breaking news, shares some of his favorite places to dine in Sin City. Just a note, but this is Zeleny’s fifth presidential election cycle.

Which restaurants do you turn to when you’re not working?

China Poblano, Tacos El Gordo and Bouchon.

What do you like to order? Why do you keep returning?

We've long loved Jose Andres in Washington, but he's brought Mexico and China together like no one before. It's my favorite thing to do when arriving in Vegas: grabbing a Rou Jia Mo sandwich, because pork has rarely tasted so good.

Tacos El Gordo is off the Strip and a MN experience into itself, but this is the place locals swear by. And now, years after coming here so consistently, completely agree. El Pastor tacos. Enough said.

Bouchon. Steak frites are beyond comfort food. All these years later, Bouchon is still my go-to for a good work dinner or social one. The frites are fabulous. This is also the place to catch up on hours of email and social media at the bar, a place to work hard, before finding time for fun. The steak is a winner, but the poulet roti is like being in the French countryside. Yes, please!
