Cornish Pasty Co.
Address: 10 E. Charleston Blvd.
Phone: 702-862-4538
Status: Now open for lunch and dinner
Cornish Pasty Co. has completed the move from its two-year-old Commercial Center origin to a larger and more visible space on Charleston Boulevard, inside a former fabric store.
Sitting across from the Arts Factory, the Tempe, Arizona-based brand hopes to make itself a new dining and social hub for neighbors in the Arts District and welcome newcomers each month as they head downtown to celebrate the First Friday festivities.
The casual space features seating around a central, open-plan kitchen, which guests can also treat as a bar to enjoy local and international draught beers, plus cocktails and spirits. A patio has also been created at the rear of the restaurant.

The menu is still based around the British pasty, a traditional baked pie with savory fillings. On Charleston, the menu has been slightly upgraded, but keeps original favorites and includes choices such as the "Guinness Stew," "All Day English Breakfast," "Shepherd’s Pie" and "Lamb Vindaloo."
Also available, "chicken liver pâté," "tandoori wings" and "cream of leek, potato & Stilton soup," a selection of salads and vegan and vegetarian pasty options. Desserts include indulgent creations like sticky toffee pudding and strawberry pavlova.
Opening hours have yet to be set in stone, with the restaurant hoping to stay open later than 2 a.m on weekends, but for now, they are advertising an 11 a.m. to midnight schedule.
