Lavo Italian Restaurant at the Palazzo already has some pretty crazy dishes. A one-pound meatball is a darling among the celebrity clientele. The Oreo zeppole for dessert is a favorite, too. And who could forget the insane party brunch on Saturdays and the Lavo Casino Club that lets guest gamble and party at the same time?
But now comes word that the restaurant with its patio on the Strip has a new dessert that reaches epic proportions.
Meet the ultimate sundae, replete with 18 scoops of ice cream, fresh macaroons, waffles, marshmallow, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and sprinkles. Chef Marc Marrone created this concoction exclusively for the Lavo Party Brunch. The whole kit and caboodle comes in a giant ice bowl to keep it cold. Everything is topped with Avion espresso liquor, a blend of Avion Silver tequila and Italian espresso, all served table-side for a take on the Italian classic Affogato.
Hungry for it? Invite a group of friends to devour the entire dish. Order it for $800. It comes with the bottle of Avion Espresso Liqueur.
