A new steakhouse is on its way to the westside. Just as the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Rampart Casino celebrate 17 years, the resort and casino announce the addition of Hawthorn Grill, debuting this winter.
Look for steakhouse fare and American classics, as well as an extensive wine and cocktail program. Hawthorn Grill plans to feature a bar area, dining room with space for a large family dinner or a romantic date and an expansive outdoor patio with a waterfall.
The restaurant will be open daily for breakfast, including a signature breakfast buffet, dinner and bar hours.
Chef Joseph Swan, formerly of the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, will oversee the kitchen as executive room chef, while Christian Umlauf from DB Brasserie takes over as general manager at Hawthorn Grill. JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa’s executive pastry chef Jeremy Choo will oversee the sweet side of Hawthorn Grill.
The team at Blau & Associates is consulting on the project.
In a way, Hawthorn Grill replaces Carmel Room and Ceres Restaurant when it opens this winter. Those restaurants have been relocated and remain open until Hawthorn Grill opens.
