With plans to launch as many as 10 locations across the state in the new few years, officially Chick-fil-A has four fast casual restaurants on the near horizon and one more they still have yet to acknowledge.
Promising a vague "2017" debut, the first site to begin serving the famous chicken sandwiches appears to be Henderson's Diamond Summit Plaza. Tipster Kristoffer Daniels has confirmed the familiar drive-thru exterior design is almost complete and has been upgraded with signage on all sides. Located at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Ione Road, a former Nacho Daddy restaurant was demolished to make way for the project.
Chick‐fil‐A maintains a countdown of impending new restaurant openings, but no Las Vegas project is slated to debut between now and Dec. 8. And none of the local locations have begun the hiring process. A high standard of customer service is a trademark of the brand.
Moving along at an apparently slightly slower pace than Cick-fil-A's Henderson neighbor is the 460 N. Stephanie St. location, just south of Sunset Station and the Galleria at Sunset. But construction on the building frame and footprint layout are still well advanced.
Rendering of Chick-fil-A Sahara & Rancho
The closest Chick-fil-A to the Strip, sitting across from the Palace Station resort at the corner of Sahara Avenue and Rancho Drive is a few months behind the progress of Henderson. A separate, 12,000-square-foot retail building set back from the restaurant is advancing much faster and may be finished before the end of the year, with room for as many as nine tenants, including more potential dining.
Yet to be formally announced by corporate headquarters will be their fourth outpost, headed for the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and George Crockett Road, a short drive from the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets and just under two miles from Mandalay Bay.
And for fans on the road, the fifth Nevada branch will take over a demolished former Marie Callender's restaurant at 6365 S. McCarran Blvd., giving Reno its first taste of Chick-fil-A sometime in the first half of 2017. Groundbreaking began earlier this summer.
