Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar plans to debut its second Las Vegas location on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Town Square. The restaurant group out of California already has a location at Downtown Summerlin on the northern side close to Red Rock Resort.
Announced last year in August, Lazy Dog plans a free-standing restaurant with a 1,787-square-foot patio for their dog friendly menu. The main building takes 8,362 square feet, a little smaller than in Downtown Summerlin, in a north side parking lot. Expect a similar menu to the one found in Summerlin, a Rocky Mountain-inspired rustic decor with fireplaces and fire pits outside, plus weekend brunch.
Some of the new fall dishes at both locations include a bone-in pork schnitzel hand-breaded with crushed pretzels, a slow-braised lamb shank, lamb ragu with noodles, a chicken curry bowl with red-hot carrot slaw, bananas Foster French toast at brunch and a sampler of three, 8-ounce brews including Lazy Dog’s Pomegranate Hefeweizen, Dogfish Head Punkin Ale and Sam Adams OctoberFest.
The restaurant at Town Square plans to be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until midnight and Saturday from 10 a.m. until midnight and Sunday from 9 a.m. until midnight. Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with a late night happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. until close. Weekend brunch runs until 2 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday.
