Maggiano's Little Italy promised new hires for their Downtown Summerlin expansion to look for a fall debut and the Italian-American restaurant is being true to their word.
Via Facebook, the second local branch has announced they are aiming to "tentatively" launch during the "last week of October." A fixture at the Strip’s Fashion Show mall since 2004, the Summerlin location will fill 9,732 square feet on Rosemary Drive, not far from the Dining Arroyo district, already home to California Pizza Kitchen and the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
The layout has been designed to offer fountain views for guests on the outdoor patio. Inside, Maggiano's allocated an estimated budget of $2.8 million to create the restaurant and its own bar.
Once they open, the plan is to serve lunch only the weekends. Already posted hours will be Monday to Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., and 11 p.m. on Friday, plus Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 11 a.m until 9 p.m. on Sundays.
On the menu, the familiar generous portions of pastas, salads, steaks and fish found on the Strip.
